Inserts for chimneys
Invicta inserts for high efficiency, environmentally-friendly fireplaces
An insert is a wood burner often installed in an existing fireplace: your open-fire installation will be transformed into a closed hearth, thanks to this efficient, environmentally-friendly system.
This simple change will much improve performance and reduce the emission of pollution into the atmosphere.
The insert, with a streamlined, cast-iron heating element, is equipped from the outset with a double lining to enable ambient air to flow around the insert and transfer heat. The insert operates by forced convection. Turbines draw in ambient air from the room via the lower part of the insert. The cool air is heated in the unit with a double lining and then expelled by the outlet on the front at the top of the insert. The insert can be connected to other rooms in the house via additional warm air outlets and distribute the warm air to other parts of the home. This configuration is possible on some closed hearths by adding a steel cowling. The warm air is also diffused by the radiation of the vitroceramic glass.
With this heating system you can therefore retain your fireplace but improve its performance
With this heating system you can therefore retain your fireplace but improve its performance via the installation of an efficient glazed insert. Performance will therefore be increased from 10-15% to over 70%. As the insert heats a room much more efficiently than an open hearth, you can save considerably on your energy bills.
